JISC conference

Sounds Commercial were the appointed Event Managers for the high profile JISC 2008 Conference at the ICC Birmingham, in April 2008.

Featuring a keynote address by Lord Putnam of Bloomsbury, the event consisted of main plenary sessions, six breakout workshops throughout the morning and a further six in the afternoon together with an exhibition for fifty stands.

The event team at Sounds Commercial project managed every element of this event, including a VIP dinner, a team dinner and accommodation as required. The event involved the pre-registration of 800 delegates and 100 exhibitors; the preparation of all delegate bags and name badges; the design of exhibitor floor plans and exhibitor registration, together with full on site event management on the day.

The event was a huge success for presenters, delegates and exhibitors alike and was deemed their best event ever, and as a result Sounds Commercial have been appointed the Event Management company for their 2009 Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
