Affinion International ACE Awards

Sounds Commercial had the pleasure for the fifth year running to produce the ACE Employee Awards for Affinion International. The show was truly an experience to remember as the 500 guests gathered for the most anticipated event on their calendar. Live from the Portsmouth Guildhall, the event celebrated the year’s successes and provided outstanding entertainment to thank employees for their hard work throughout the year.

The Urban Street theme allowed us to produce a completely bespoke hand painted stage set complimented by a sophisticated lighting rig allowing moving lights to enhance the scenic depth and architecture of the urban setting.

Our studio produced a 10 minute opening VT to introduce the awards from the pre event filming we had conducted at the Affinion offices. Employees were asked to dress up and dance for the cameras! From our edit suite to the 12ft projection screen, the VT rolled, effortlessly cut in time to the beat. Each award was introduced by an opening award sting created from our motion graphics suites.

The main awards ceremony was followed by a performance from the ZooNation dance group, following on from their performance at the Beijing Olympics 2008. Our studio produced a VT to introduce them from a pre event shoot with the dancers and some fantastic urban street dance style motion graphics and after effects. The VT launched Zoonation into their jaw dropping routine, choreographed perfectly to a collage of urban music – the audience were wowed. The evening was rounded off by an upbeat performance from the ‘Madhen’ band.

From conception through to completion, the Sounds Commercial production team and studio excelled themselves with producing a wonderfully exciting and completely bespoke event.
