Inter Route Event

The brief was to exceed the impact of last year’s event and that was exactly what we did! This year’s Midsummer Night's Dream themed event was held at Bristol’s Marriott City Centre hotel, always a great space for us to work with.

The entire room was wrapped in Star Cloth, programmed with green LED lights. Ivy crept around the walls of the room, and drops of champagne voiles were hung as a backdrop to the stage to which leaf gobo’s were projected. A high spec lighting rig combined with haze, rolling mist and dry ice were employed to create the impression of a dark forest with beams of light breaking through the canopy, offering great energy and atmosphere to the room.

Perhaps the most impressive prop was the 4 metre tall tree situated under a glistening moon crescent, constructed from white acrylic. Five point candelabras standing at over a meter tall and draped in ivy offered a striking central focus to each table.

As guests mingled for welcome drinks, a Shakespearean ‘living statue’ entertained the guests with elements of
surprise whilst several meet and greet actors beckoned people into the depths of the forest for the evenings
proceedings.

After dinner, the hypnotist invited members of the audience to fall under his spell leaving the remainder in fits of laughter! He enthralled the audience and embarrassed the willing volunteers for an hour until the disco kicked in to finale the event.

The event ran seamlessly, looked utterly breath taking and left our clients expectations once again exceeded!
