Joel Ashley - Live Events Manager

Working in the live events industry for over a decade, Joel has a diverse and experienced background. With a varied technical history, he provides a valuable link from the office environment to our technical departments.

Bryony Butler - Live Events Co-ordinator

Bryony is the newest member of our Live Events team. Her experience in organising live music & hospitality events makes her perfect for theming any event. In her spare time she likes running, cooking and socialising.

Sam Greatorex - Technical Live Events Manager

Sam has worked for Sounds Commercial for over 11 years, starting as a Hire Technician then as a Conference Technician, he’s moved up the ranks to Senior Technician & Senior Conference technician, then became Hire Manager and is now Head of Live Events. Sam is a perfect example of home grown talent. When Sam’s not working he’s a coach at a children’s football club and is also an avid golfer in his spare time.

Jason Amos – Warehouse Manager

Jason has worked in the industry for the last 10 years and bringing this experience with him means he is the perfect man to manage the very busy warehouse, responsible for stock control and preparing jobs. In his spare time Jason can be found on the football pitch coaching

Andrew Thompson – Head of Video

Andrew started with the company as an Audio Visual Technician at Conference Wales in April 2008. Having moved from Essex to attend Glamorgan University, at which he attained a BSc in Sound Technology; Andrew has been putting his skills to good use in the Audio Visual sector and has transferred to our Head Office to work in the Conference Team. Andrew has a keen interest in both playing and listening to music and enjoys socialising, walking and cycling in his spare time.

Chris Aplin - Head of Audio

Chris has a degree in Sounds Technology and since graduating in 2009, has been a freelancer before coming to Sounds Commercial. Outside of work his spare time is filled with spending time with his family and DIY.

Stuart Cottingham - AV Technician

The youngest member of the production team, Stu, at 21 has nearly 5 years experience at Sounds Commercial in both hire and technical production. Easy to get on with, client focused and with his whole career ahead of him, Stu is one to watch.
