Andy Langford - Technical Operations Manager
Andy is Technical Operations Manager for the hires team. His technical experience dealing with 4 star London hotels fits him perfectly in the team.
When Andy’s not at work he enjoys football.
Chris Holt - Hire Manager
Chris originally started at Sounds Commercial as trainee in 2002 and has since moved up the ranks to become the company's hire manager. Chris is your main contact if you have any hire needs and with his technical knowledge and attention to detail, you can rest assured you will get the service you require.
Justin Daniels - Hire Manager (Technical)
Justin has a very wide knowledge of data and projection which he has gained for working on many large corporate and music festival projects. His advice and guidance to new members of staff is invaluable. His hobbies inlcude animation and film making. Justin is also recognised as an internationally acclaimed VJ, having worked with Classical, Dance and Jazz artists.
Dave Parnell - Hire Technician
Dave is the longest serving hire technician within Sounds Commercial. Having moved up the ranks, one of his responsibilities now lies with training new employees. Dave is asked for by name by many clients and has a large amount of experience in all fields of the audio visual industry. Dave in his spare time plays football in a local league.
Dan Wilson - Hire Technician
Dan has been with the company for a number of years now and came in at trainee level. He has learnt the ropes from the bottom up and can now be relied on to take on the largest of jobs. Dan is also the member of the very successful up and coming band 'If Not Today'.
Simon Cox - Hire Technician (Swindon Branch)
Simon has over 20 years experience as a Sound Engineer. He has worked in live music, recording studios, theatre and cabaret before settling in Conference and Events. Since then, Simon has successfully operated numerous major political party and trade union conferences. He was recently employed as the Stage Manager on a large cruise ship off Brazil. Simon has travelled extensively in India, lived in Israel for a year, hang glided over Rio and met his wife 5,500 metres high in the Himalayas. Simon is also an accomplished pianist, having played since the age of six.
Chris Naylor - AV Technician
Chris has a broad range of skills which can be utilised in many areas. He also likes a challenge and finding out a new or better way to solve a problem. Chris has a can do positive attitude especially with clients. His interests include voluntary work as scout leader and theatrical work and spending time in outdoor pursuits.
Stephen Silcock - Senior AV Technician On-Property AV Technician at Marriott Forest of Arden
Steve got into the AV industry more by chance than anything else when helping out a friend some 10 years ago which he really enjoyed and never stopped enjoying. He joined Sounds Commercial over five years ago. Outside of work, Steve enjoys the open air life with interests in golf, football and walking.
Gavin Jackson - AV Technician (Midlands Branch)
From a young age Gavin has worked with sound and radio, DJing and producing music. He went on to study Media Production and consequently found a career with Sounds Commercial and the opportunity to learn and progress a highly knowledgeable Audio Visual technician. He is still a keen DJ and Producer and promotes regular club nights.
Scott Andoniou - AV Technician
Scott has joined Sounds Commercial with a wealth of IT experience. Since joining Sounds Commercial he has now found his skills span a lot wider. Scott can provide the technical support at any event that will ensure its smooth running.
Dan Curnock – AV Technician
Dan has recently joined us and has proved himself to be a valuable member of the team from the offset. He has a real passion for music production and likes to DJ in his spare time. With a great understanding of sound and thorough attention to detail Dan’s a key member of the crew.
