For the ninth year running Sounds Commercial are organising the Archives & Records Association UK & Ireland annual conference. This year ARA have joined with the International Council on Archives to deliver an international event for 300 delegates at the Hilton Grosvenor Hotel, Edinburgh, from 31st August to 2nd September 2011.

We have sourced and booked the venue, co-ordinated the logistics of a three strand programme, managed an online booking service, provided technical and studio support, designed and printed invitations and signage in house, organised the social activities, liaised with International speakers together with a government minister and arranged a trade exhibition for 30 exhibitors and sponsors.  We are looking forward to going on site to co-ordinate the day to day operation with a team of 3 event managers and 2 technicians.

The ARA Annual Conference is their biggest annual event. It brings together the ARA membership alongside high profile speakers, to hear about the latest developments in the sector as well as creating opportunities for networking.

We are now planning the 2012 conference in Brighton.
